Our partner club, American Club of Brussels (ACB) has once again invited us to join their ACB Ommegang Dinner at the iconic Roy d’Espagne in one of their private rooms with a view! This year’s celebration falls on July 4th — so come and celebrate Independence Day in a quintessentially Belgian way!
This is a spectacular affair, a UNESCO Heritage event, and one of the biggest festivals in the country. For the 92nd edition of this historic show, the ACB is excited to offer once again members and guests a unique opportunity to view the Ommegang procession on the Grand-Place, while dining in an elegant restaurant.
The parade and show are part of the folklore of Brussels, with 1,400 actors, folk and historic groups, horses, puppet theatre, giants, flags, and more. The celebration honours the coming of Charles the Fifth to Brussels in 1549.
