AWCB Sale of Stored Items!

Since the sale of the old Clubhouse in 2020, the Club has stored many items in a storage facility.  The storage costs the Club 2,000 euros a year and is the second largest budget item in the cost of running the Club.  The Board has decided to dispose of the remaining items and to close the storage facility.  

You as a Member have a unique opportunity!  We are holding a sale of these items only open to Club members.  The list of the items to be sold is attached, along with the requested price.  If you wish to purchase any of these items, please send a mail to the Secretary chris@awcb.org  Items will be sold on a ‘first come, first served basis’.

If you want to buy something but do not want to pay the price asked, you can place make bid on any item by sending a mail to chris@awcb.org giving the Item number and the amount you wish to bid. The highest bid at midnight Saturday 14th June shall be declared the winner.  All items NOT sold prior to Saturday 21st June will be offered at ANY price to Members who come in person on 21st June (all items must be taken away the same day).  All items left will be donated to charity.

Collection is mandatory on Saturday 21st June 2025, between 10am and noon.    

In this way, we hope that the remaining items from the Club House can find a happy and useful home, either with you our Members or at least by being put to good use by our Charities.
