The AWCB is delighted to again have been invited to the wonderful private Le Val Richer estate in Normandy for this Members Only event (members can bring 1 guest).  Stay in this private, family chateau, eat dinner at 8pm, tour the Normandy beaches and museums, sample the local cider, relax with a good book and enjoy the superb luxury of the Val Richer in the company of your Club friends.

Agenda

Breakfast, lunch and dinner (with wine) is included, along with wonderful rooms and excellent company with your fellow Club members and friends.  Optional tours are being arranged for each day as follows (all costs payable locally and using your own cars for transport):

• Thursday - Arrive, walk the grounds, relax and settle in
  
• Friday - Garden day!  We shall visit some wonderful gardens and have crepes
  
• Saturday - Day at the seaside, visiting Duville and other beautiful local towns on the sea
  
• Sunday - Cider & Calvados!  Followed by lunch & then a much needed walk!

Accommodation

As each room is slightly different in price, below is a guide only.  Please note that all prices include your meals taken in the House.  All arrangements will be handled individually by email.  Those of limited mobility will always be given the first choice.

1. Main House Gallery 1st Floor Double Rooms (en suite) - Double Occupancy 78 euros per person per night, Single Occupancy 94 euros per night
   
2. Main House Aile Double Rooms (en suite) - Double Occupancy 75,50 euros per person per night, Single Occupancy 89 euros per night
   
3. Main House Aile Double Rooms (toilet & sink, shared bathroom) - Double Occupancy 72,50 euros per person per night, Single Occupancy 83 euros per person per night
   
4. Ferme (newly renovated rooms in building adjacent to Main House; en suite) - Double Occupancy 75,50 euros per person per night, Single Occupancy 89 euros per night
5. Ferme (newly renovated rooms in building adjacent to Main House; detached dedicated bathroom) - Double Occupancy 72,50 euros per person per night, Single Occupancy 83 euros per person per night

Additional Charges

• Per person Sojourn tax (per person per STAY) - 8 euros
  
• Credit Card Payment Fee - 3% (waived if paid by bank transfer)
• All meals and entrance fees for visits outside the House

Arrangements

• Your initial booking fee covers the costs of the Club and makes a small contribution towards the Val Richer maintenance fund
• A dedicated WhatsApp Group will be set up for all registrants for final arrangements and to enable Members to arrange car pooling between themselves
• All Registrants will be contacted by the Secretary after registration to discuss room availability and preference; note that priority for accessible rooms will go to those of limited mobility
• You do not have to stay the whole time; you can choose to arrive and/or leave on a different day, depending on your availability
