The trip we have all been waiting for; PARIS! We will spend two wonderful days in Paris, with a full Parisian agenda based on luxury and history. Saturday we will focus on the historical relationship of France and the emerging United States in the 18th Century with a walking tour, accompanied by a local guide. We will end the day with a wonderful meal in the 1st floor Eiffel Tower Restaurant, with wonderful views over Paris by night.
Sunday will focus on Parisian luxury; the Dior Museum (www.galaeriedior.com) for the morning to see the outstanding fashion displays, followed by the amazing Andre Jacquemart Museum (www.musee-jacquemart-andre.com) in the afternoon, ending with an afternoon tea.
We also offer an optional Friday night personal Sorbonne experience; a tour of the Sorbonne by Florence, a resident for 25 years, followed by an aperitif and a delicious 3 course dinner in a local historic 19th restaurant Bouillon Racine (www.bouillonracine.fr) . An experience not to be missed!
Accommodation will be at the small but luxurious Hotel Design Sorbonne (www.hotelsorbonne.com) 6 rue Victor Cousin in the 5th arrondissement. This hotel only has 8 rooms so space is very limited! Rates include breakfast
Room Type 1 (2 available) - Design Classique. 225 per night single, 240 per night double.
Room Type 2 (6 available) - Superieure. 270 per night double.
Included: Aperitif & dinner Friday night, Paris Historical Walking Tour, Eiffel Tower dinner, Dior Museum, Andre Jacquemart Museum, Sunday Afternoon tea.
