______
Once a month, you are invited to join our evening Reading Group get-together, to discuss the book-of-the-month, which is written by an American or Canadian author. We meet in the Brussels area, on the second Wednesday of the month, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
We often share a meal together while sharing views on the book-of-the-month! And also, info about good reads we have enjoyed. All contributions to the conversation are welcome!

Working: Researching, Interviewing, Writing
THE AUTHOR: Robert Caro is a two time pulitzer prize winning biographer. His first book the power broker is amongst the 100 American non fiction books to read, and his series on LBJ are perhaps one of the most accurate portrayals of political power ever written. Obama, Tony Blair, David Cameron, et. al. have all read his book. In the world of public affairs his books are the most suggested.
THE BOOK: Working is a small collection/memoir of the most memorable pieces from the authors books. Much like his biographies, which, in his words, are not just suetonian accounts of famous people, but the story of their political power, his own memoir is also a story of power - the way he found out about these people's power.
The book is written is flawless prose, and has the great virtue of being short - unlike his other books.
