FAWCO: discussion about the Long Shadow movie

Let's Talk! An open discussion about emotions and feelings from the Long Shadow Documentary

In addition to the film screening of The Long Shadow, Friday, January 14-Friday, January 21, and the open Q&A with the filmmaker on January 19 FAWCO's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Team

will host a guided, open discussion among members who want to reflect on what they learned from the movie/documentary and any emotions that came up for them.

This safe space conversation will provide an opportunity for members to share their authentic selves with the support of others who care about diversity.

Talking openly about our historic roots and the modern manifestations of social inequalities allows us to examine privilege but it also allows us to build up our competencies on the subject of diversity.
