HOPE Spotlight: Oasis Belgium

Join us in this online Meet and Greet with Emma Gooding, the newly appointed director of Oasis Belgium. Oasis Belgium is part of a worldwide family of organisations working to help the most marginalised find community, choice, and hope.

Emma will talk about Oasis Belgium’s Welkom Project, which began by visiting vulnerable and exploited women in local massage parlors around the country. The project works to bring community, education on their rights, the chance to choose another life with job training and help finding alternative work. Oasis Belgium works with women who have immigrated from numerous countries and experience gender-based violence, exploitation, and discrimination.

In this brief session, learn more about the Welkom Project and Oasis Belgium’s other initiatives, as well as how you can make a difference.
