The Sex and the City creator, Darren Star, has struck again. This time, it is in the shape of a Chicago-born, Paris-hailing twenty something American working for a luxury marketing firm.

Netflix’s Emily in Paris has taken viewers to the City of Lights, and one thing is certain – the cliches are plentiful. Emily is a young girl from Chicago that finds the opportunity of her lifetime to work in Paris.
