Dear {Contact_First_Name},

Our 75th Anniversary gala was a breathless and incredible moment!! Not only was the venue of the American embassy so picturesque, the speeches not too long, but most of all, the best of the best, was YOU, dear members of our club.  Each one present came with smiles on their faces, warmth in their heart, happy to celebrate with Ambassador Michael Adler and his wonderful wife.

The food was delicious and abundant. Our AWCB labeled champagne brought directly from the Champagne region in France put sparkles and joy all over us. And, did you know that you can purchase those same bottles to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Birthdays, any occasion you want!!  Click here to get your bottle(s) on your home table: Buy our Champagne

Now, time goes by and many other events are coming up, please check on our Event Calendar to register.  May I bring to your attention a new way of discovering Brussels. Christine Aries, architect, has eyes to witness undiscovered places. She knows so many secrets and is willing to share them with us. So please, sign up and come. We will have three walks initially; two will be on Tuesday mornings in October and December, February will be on a Saturday morning.

Thanksgiving parties will be numerous. First one will be a Sunday lunch, November 24th at 12:30 at All Saints Church in Waterloo, free of charge,  Just bring a savoury for a potluck. Crispy and hot Turkey will be provided by the church members.

Angel tree, a AWCB club tradition, has a special section in this newsletter for your information.  Please participate by donating money or by buying a gift.

I do know that quite a few members will be traveling in the next upcoming months, so I wish you safe travels, happy family reunions and know that you will be back to our beloved club soon!

We look forward to welcoming you to our events!

Our fundraising for St. Nicolas gifts is underway. The charities being supported are very grateful for our St. Nicolas gift contribution and impacting the children and adolescents in their care. Our Angel Tree co-ordinator, Melita Campaignolle,  toured the Cite Joyeuse personally and was touched by the dedicated staff and volunteers that work towards improving the challenging lives these children are experiencing. Supporting these amazing organization is truly a satisfying experience.

Throughout the month of November, we need your help to meet our commitments in providing gifts for the 350 children in the four charities we are sponsoring.
