The Mothers of Young Children (MOYC) group is a vibrant and active part of the AWCB. We provide support and activities for AWCB members from pregnancy through their children’s youth.

• Monthly meetings:

  • The meeting will be held in the the first Friday of each month at 10 a.m. Come for a fresh cup of coffee & conversation (including discussion of future events and activities as well as topical guest speakers on occasion ).

   

  Playgroup:

  • We are in the process of starting up a new playgroup. Bring your kids (ages infant to toddler) and let them play! We will be meeting every Monday from 10:45 to 12 in the exercise room.

   

  Ladies Night Out:

  • Once a month, we organize an evening out to dinner for MOYC members (no kids). Here’s your chance to get out, have adult conversation and meet other moms with young children.   In addition to our regular activities, we have several holiday parties throughout the year as well as other events for kids, families and just the adults. Stay tuned!

Granny’s Attic:

Do you have friends or family with little ones coming to visit? Do you need gear to accommodate them? Come to Granny’s Attic! We have car seats, boosters, travel beds, bed rails and all sorts of other equipment for short-term rental by AWCB members. If you are leaving town or your kids have outgrown their baby equipment, we are also always looking for donations. Reservation sheets, a list of equipment and the Granny’s Attic rental guidelines are available at the reception desk.
