45th Annual Holiday Bazaar and Charity Tombola

Kick off your holiday shopping with over 100 fabulous vendors!
** Great gift ideas from throughout Europe ranging from Polish pottery, hand-woven shawls and scarves, colourful jewellery, bed linens, artwork and wooden toys to South African wines and hand made chocolates. Something for everyone on your list, including yourself!
Huge Brocante/Flea Market
** After the great success last year, the brocante is returning even bigger and better. Second hand books, games, toys, DVDs, clothes, baby equipment, and small appliances will be on offer at bargain prices.
Homemade Food
** Delicious homemade apple and pumpkin pies, quiches, chilli, hot chocolate and other refreshments will be available at the Holly and Ivy Café – to take home and share or eat in.
Fantastic Charity Raffle Prizes
Every year the Charity Tombola raffle held at the Bazaar raises funds which are donated to Belgian charities supported through the AWCB’s Humanitarian Outreach and Events Program (HOPE). Over the past two years, over € 15,000 have been donated locally.
**Prizes include a diamond ring, a stay at the Conrad hotel, a Microsoft X Box, a beautiful porcelain Gien vase and many others
Tickets are €2.50 and will be on sale prior to and at the Bazaar, until 1pm on Sunday 22nd November.
Prize drawings begin at 1pm on Sunday 22nd November.
Parking is free.
There is a €1 entrance fee into the Holiday Bazaar; children under 16 may enter for free.
Please note that strollers are not permitted in the shopping areas but can be left at the coat check.
Please note that most vendors are not equipped with bancontact/credit card facilities.
The AWCB
The AWCB is a non-profit-making organisation (asbl) offering educational, cultural and social activities for its members and encouraging their active contribution to the Belgian community. The Holiday Bazaar is the AWCB’s largest annual fundraising event; proceeds provide critical funds for the day-to-day operations of the Club and the capital expenses of its clubhouse.
The Holiday Bazaar & Charity Tombola is entirely organized and staffed by volunteers.
